Nylock Nuts feature a nylon insert that functions as an effective locking mechanism, providing resistance to loosening under vibration and torque. This insert secures the fastener in two key ways: by increasing friction through axial pressure between mating threads, and by applying a radial compressive force against the bolt.

Ideal for high-performance, structural, or corrosive environments where durability and reliability are critical.

The nylon insert is non-damaging to threads, making it suitable for applications requiring repeated assembly, though performance may diminish with frequent reuse. Additionally, the insert helps prevent moisture ingress, offering a degree of thread sealing and corrosion protection.
